Parsnip

Although one of our best known root vegetables, parsnips do
not grow well in hot areas.
They take up to five months to mature but will remain in the
soil for 2–3 months.
Prepare the garden bed in an open sunny position by deep
digging soil which has been well manured for a previous
crop. Do not use fresh stable manure
