This 30cm high flowering annual is very hardy and while it
will grow in almost any soil type, it responds to well prepared
soil to which well rotted stable manure has been added several
weeks prior.
Transplant seedlings when the first pair of true leaves have
fully developed, spacing them 15cm apart and water hem in
immediately.
A fortnightly feed with a seaweed fertiliser will ensure flowers
over a long period.
