A bright free-flowering variety with a good range of colours and typical fragrant flowers borne on long stems. As it is a tall grower a site adjacent to a north or west facing fence or trellis at least 2m high is a must. Prepare soil by digging in compost and top dressing with lime. Sow seed direct into garden bed or can also be raised in a seed-box and then trans-planted when 10cm high. Care must be taken to ensure that only fertilisers containing potash and phosphorus - not nitrogen - are used during the growing period.
