A very popular variety producing large quantities of 22.5cm pods.
As soon as the soil warms up, prepare for sowing by digging over the garden bed which should be located in an open sunny position and have been previously used to grow a leaf crop such as cabbage or lettuce.
Apply a complete fertilizer in bands about 6cm each side of the row at planting time.
Water plants regularly, preferably by trickle irrigation rather than overhead sprinkler, and pick mature beans twice a week.
Sow every three weeks for a continuous crop.
