Grows better in warm areas where night temperatures are
not too cold.
Choose a site in an open, warm and sunny position and
prepare soil by digging in compost and animal manure.
Apply a general purpose fertilizer at a rate of 20 grams per
hill and sow 4 seeds to each hill.
Apply plenty of water during the growing season preferably
by irrigation rather than over the foliage.
